At Jim Keay Ford, we decided to dive into the retail merchandising near the end of 2022, and we have been pleasantly surprised with the results. The first thing we noticed was the excitement from the staff. Every day when we received a shipment, staff from all departments would come to look over the latest gear before I had a chance to fill the display. It showed the pride they had in representing the Ford brand.
The second thing I noticed after having started the retail program was the customers coming in to look at the merchandise. I had several come to our store to pick up a shirt for someone for Christmas or a birthday. They had never been in our store before, but after seeing the display on social media, they came in to have a look. It gives somes customers something to do while they for their vehicles to be repaired, and others a chance to browse for something that compliment their new purchase.
It’s has been a wonderful experience made even better by the amazing staff at Ford Merchandise. Issy and his team have been so helpful. I am happy with our setup and the ease of ordering new items. I am excited to see where this new venture goes.
